Anyway.. some guy/girl has posted on DP the stats of all the listed site in dmoz as of 2 month ago and ran a report to return the PR..

So this is intersting because the site listed in dmoz are of course manually checked and must be “good” lol..

Lots of people having PR0 on the homepage after this update but hey that happens..

The site that went to pr0 sitewide like myspace and 1 of my clients returned and updated which was a great update in the end

Seo home is to young looks like the Jan 2007 PR update was a snapshit from around the 2nd week of October…

 This update is interesting.. I’m watching a site I work on that gone from a 5 to a 0 .. watch and wait…

No pr for seohome yet.. we wait and we see

Been watching a few site including some amazon clones which keep popping in and out of the sup’s..

 I’ve noticed some really odd site commands over the past week.. I’ve always loved looking at the ranking for site: as it give clues about the power of the internal pages..

Things i’ve noticed when promoting internal pages:

The site command returns the top level domain followed by the internal page with the most “rank” revelence not pagerank ..

The news sup’s seem to be apearing above the top level domain on “sup sites” (sup site for me is when only the top level domain is indexed)

Then about 2 days ago the sup de-indexed.. only to return later…

hmmm..

Still watching…

Chrisboggs has write up “buying links” session held @ pubcon..

The info about what has been said has been talk about and agreed for while on many forums..

Some points from the main article are if you are going buy link buy quality one from high traffic and not footer links.. Content link (within the content of the page) and 100% on theme..

Here is a quote I was interested in which might be expaned ?
