jaiku and google ?

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

What is Jaiku?
A. Jaiku is an activity stream and presence sharing service that works from the Web and mobile phones. Jaiku, Ltd. was founded in February, 2006 by Jyri Engeström and Petteri Koponen from Finland. The service was released on the Web in July 2006. Jaiku is based in Helsinki.

I’ve just got back from my holidays which I spent about 1hr a day on my pda which was my first real experience of “working” remotely without my laptop..

I enjoyed using my pda and google is pretty cool with a super fast “mobile” search…

If jaiku and google team up that would be cool.. We shall wait and see..

First of all, we want to welcome the team from Tonic Systems to Google. Tonic, which we’ve just acquired, is based in San Francisco and Melbourne, Australia. They have some great technology for presentation creation and document conversion, and it will be a great addition as we add presentation sharing and collaboration capabilities to Google Docs & Spreadsheets.

Google then goes on to joke about family photo’s ..

Our due date is this summer. We promise to share family photos just as soon as we can.

Rather odd.. Some one been on the google gulp http://www.google.com/googlegulp/
