TLA Acquired By MediaWhiz!

Tuesday, November 7th, 2006

Is it the end of TLA ?

Hmm… The newsletter I just got saying that MediaWhiz has acqired TLA and is going to offer more… ummm…

Publishers: by leveraging MediaWhiz’s agency relationships and sales staff we will be able to sell more ad space on your website. We also will be adding the ability to monetize your website in new ways including: CPA offers and CPM display advertising.

Advertisers: TLA will be working with MediaWhiz to offer new ways to drive traffic and sales to your website including: email marketing, CPA offers, CPM display ads and more!

One of the things I liked about TLA was the lack of “other stuff” .. It worked for me..

I’m a grumpy old man?

Tuesday, November 7th, 2006

I posted yesterday about the google doodle that won and is now on the h/p for google.co.uk

Today I read the background on whom did it :http://www.google.co.uk/doodle4google/katherinechisnall/index.html

I was looking at all the info in regards to the other drawing the children from the uk had made.. I thought the winning one really stood out.. yep REALLY stood out above and beyond the rest for the quality and finish..

So I looked at the name and discovered that the winner was a Katherine Chisnall.. Cool.. But she is listed in

9-13 years age group and Overall Winner

I’m a very impressed skeptic ;)

New toy comes with google tools ..

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006

I’m a bit sad really and often go to buy something for a good reason.. And today was not execption..

I need some ink for a printer so went off to buy some.. Simple.. In the back of my mind I thought about a new external hard drive after seeing the prices drop like mad the other day..

So I saw a seagate 320gb for £79 and thought wow.. Thats pretty cheap..

The only problem I had was it didn’t look very styled.. (looked like a paper shreader)

Sat next to it was the “MyBook” by Western Digital I’ve never had any problems before with WD and this one looked new and not from the 60’s

Back to the seo side of this post…

The “MyBook” came with some great back up software and…. You guessed it google toolkits..
